Delete your account in Aura
- Open Aura and sign in.
- Tap Profile, then the Settings gear.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Read both confirmation screens and choose Delete everything.
You do not need to email support or visit a website to complete deletion.
What happens next
Your account becomes unavailable immediately and active sessions are revoked. Posts, comments and owned media are hidden; direct chats, devices and space memberships associated with your account are removed. Your account, content, aura records and related server data are permanently erased from active systems within 30 days. Sign in with Apple credentials are revoked as part of the workflow. Limited information may be retained only where law requires it or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Deletion is permanent. You cannot restore your username, posts, photos, chats, comments, keeps or accumulated aura afterward.
Want a copy first?
Before deleting, go to Profile → Settings → Download your data. Aura prepares a portable JSON export which you can save or share from your device.
Can’t access the app?
Email privacy@theaura.space from the address associated with your account. Include your username and explain that you cannot use the in-app flow. We will verify account ownership without asking for your password.
